二是作为“在场与缺席”(Presence/Absence)的博弈。

在本次会议中,上海音乐学院音乐学系2025级博士研究生张孜乐发表了题为《超越迁徙:拉祜西宇宙观中的音身系统与当下构建》(Beyond Exoduses: the Body-Sound Systems and the Construction of the Present in Lahu Xi Cosmology)的学术报告。
Abstract: This research examines how Lahu Xi communities in Yunnan province, China, construct their ritual temporality through the embodied sonic co-presence of O Li, the core ritual of worship to their deity “Esha”. For the Lahu Xi O Li is not simply a religious act but a temporal practice that generates an ever-renewing present linking cosmology, community, and future continuity. O Li is enacted through bodily movement, vocal and instrumental sound, and collective performance; when it is interrupted or cannot be performed, the continuity of Lahu Xi social cohesion and cosmological order becomes precarious.
The two major cross-border exoduses undertaken by the Lahu Xi between the 1960s and 1980s provide an essential historical backdrop to my two-year fieldwork in Longzhupeng village, Yunnan, where the community’s present is articulated through the contemporary practice of O Li. Rather than interpreting these earlier migrations solely as responses to material deprivation or state pressure, as framed by James C. Scott’s “Zomia”, I situate them in relation to the threatened impossibility of performing O Li. Focusing on the interdependence of body and sound within the ritual, I demonstrate that bodily and sonic acts transmit memory, forge belonging, and articulate a cosmology that interweaves humans, environment, and the sacred. The Lahu Xi case highlights how musical-ritual practices shape possibilities of presence, belonging, and being-together in a time marked by political restriction, displacement, technological mediation, and environmental crisis.

(University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna)以及伦敦大学皇家霍洛威学院(Royal Holloway, University of London)的学者,就跨地域仪式比较、宗教影响及舞谱表征逻辑等问题与张孜乐展开讨论。
